This year we were fortunate to have a lot of lambs provided by the Barton family. They were all very well behaved!

Pet Day 2019

The day luckily warmed up and we had a fabulous pet day. In the morning we got to hear all about how to care for guinea pigs and what to look for in a champion guinea pig. They were absolutely so cute.
Next Mrs Robertson brought her two ponies for the whole school to have a ride on. She even set up an obstacle course to complete. The smiles on the children's faces were a mile wide!!
Then came the big event with all the wonderful pets coming. We had lambs, pigs, calves, dogs, cats, chickens what a menagerie of pets. Congratulations to all of the pets and their pet owners and especially to Finn Fricker and Maaaa Barton who took out the overall pet of the day. A big thank you to our judges ( Charlotte, Jean and Terry) for doing such a good job and a thank you to North Canterbury Vets who provided spot prizes.
