The Weka children travelled into Amberley to visit the Amberley Ambulance Station. While they were gone the Kea's were lucky enough to have a visit at the school.
The ambulance officer gave the Keas a run down of her role as a volunteer. She talked about how she deals with the stress of seeing trauma by talking to people. Even to a counsellor if necessary. She loves being a volunteer because she knows she is helping people in need and making a difference.
Thank you to the team of St Johns.
